"Hats Off To OFS:" Celebrating a decade of excellence as a Top Workplace

Last Friday marked an exciting milestone for Oakland Family Services (OFS) as we gathered for our quarterly staff meeting at the Marriott Auburn Hills/Pontiac Campus Hotel. The occasion was not just another routine meeting; it was a celebration of being recognized as a Top Workplace for an incredible 10 consecutive years.

Our team delved into what it takes to create an exceptional workplace environment. Through insightful discussions and engaging activities, we explored the attributes and values that contribute to our success.

One highlight of the day was the team-building activity where groups created word clouds showcasing the culture at OFS. It was a collaborative effort that underscored the importance of teamwork, communication, and creativity in achieving our goals.

Adding to the festivities, the theme of the meeting was “Hats Off To OFS.” We took this opportunity to have some fun with a hat contest! The categories ranged from "Most Colorful" to "Best Group Theme," providing everyone with a chance to showcase their creativity and individuality.

As we wrapped up the day, we left with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to continue building on our success. The “Hats Off” celebration served as a reminder that while awards and recognition are gratifying, it is the people behind them that truly make OFS a top workplace.
