Julia joined Oakland Family Services as Director of Human Resources in 2023.
Julia holds more than 20 years of experience working in the behavioral health industry. She earned her Master of Public Administration degree from Wayne State University.
As a human resources leader, Julia is skilled in areas such as talent recruitment, new-hire onboarding, training, performance management, policy development, employee retention, and more.
She leads with a caring "employee first" mindset and understands the importance of organizational culture.
Julia enjoys finding efficient solutions that promote staff development and meet organizational goals.
In her current position, Julia oversees all functions of the human resources department and works closely with the executive leadership team to ensure the agency provides the best possible employee experience.
