DEBBIE SMITH, LMSW
Director of Treatment Services
Debbie has been with Oakland Family Services since 2010. She earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and was a computer programmer for several years before going back to school to obtain a master’s degree in social work.
Previously, Debbie worked as a therapist in a residential program and was a foster care supervisor. At Oakland Family Services, she has been a supervisor for both home-based and outpatient treatment programs.
In her current role, Debbie oversees the Day One and Specialized Services for Youth programs, including developing and monitoring program budgets; accounting for and enhancing quality services to clients; facilitating program development as community needs and trends are identified; and creating a cohesive team comprised of staff who are supported, engaged, and deliver quality treatment services.
