Join us for The Perks of Foster Parenting

Have you ever thought about becoming a foster parent? There are thousands of children in Michigan who need safe, loving foster homes — and there are rarely enough foster families to go around.

Oakland Family Services and Faith Communities Coalition on Foster Care invite you to join us for a cup of coffee and learn how you can make a difference for vulnerable children in need at The Perks of Foster Parenting. Attendees will enjoy complimentary coffee, donuts and breakfast foods — while learning what it means to be a foster parent, how to become licensed and more.

The Perks of Foster Parenting will be held 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 24, at First Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. Attendees can enter to win one of five $25 gift cards, and those who sign up for an upcoming foster care orientation will receive a small “thank you” gift.
